The Light WPB is doing a corporate fast to seek God’s face and to be molded into His Will. Pray about which fast God is calling you to do. Consult with a doctor if you have any concerns of your physical well-being.

Recommended fasting schedule:

  • Week 1: Media Fast- With our increasing reliance on media, we often don’t allow times of disconnection or silence. This fast abstains from the following: TV, news, movies, music, radio, social media, video games.
  • Week 2: Daniel Fast- based on the desire of the prophet Daniel in the Bible, this fast consists of consuming mainly fruits, vegetables and water.
  • Week 3: Juice Fast- During this fast, drink juice made from fresh fruits and vegetables instead of eating solid foods.

Pray about the fast that God is calling you to do and feel free to do your own fast. This schedule is only a recommendation.**
